With the Walking To Success project, we want to donate to the children of underprivileged areas of Ghana, providing them with socks and shoes to go to and from school. The children of Africa struggle every day walking on treacherous terrain to receive an education. In addition to them doing so in any weather condition, they aren’t always traveling short distances. Imagine your walk to school being over 3 miles and having to be there by 7 or 8 am.
"Some stimulus fund recipients say they don't urgently need the money. Instead of putting it into savings accounts, they've decided to give it away to help others. That's exactly what I did with my $1,400 stimulus check to assist with the purchase of shoes and socks for underprivileged kids."

IT'S ABOUT MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
Africa has always had a special place in my heart. I grew up in a home where missionary work was a norm and I witnessed my father prepare to cross the seas to change people's lives. Whether it was clothing donations, building churches, or creating ways to farm, it was his true dedication and sacrifice for Africa. I always wanted to take my own journey, creating my own footprint in changing lives for a better tomorrow. For a place that has such a historic timeline and deep culture, its appeal captured my attention. It was a plan of mine a year ago to make this journey but as the pandemic crossed the world, it was put on hold until travel became safe again. I had a conversation with my father just to capture his thoughts and his legacy which he founded back in the 80s. He emphasized the challenges and the success among the people in Ghana. Seeds were planted and even today are still growing because of his love and compassion for African people.
As for me, I believe educational strength is a tool to change lives for the better. I was very blessed to have two parents who made the decision to take the journey from my birthplace England to the United States for a better tomorrow. I deeply appreciate and thank my parents for the sacrifice that both of them made.
My late mom who has gone home to be with her creator, I know she’s watching me make this journey.
Some children miss out because of a lack of basic tools. These tools include clothes donation; socks, shoes, and basic school wear. Many other kids are learning education on the bare dirt floor in classrooms with no chairs or desks. Our mission is to just give a little, it doesn’t have to be a lot, a small act of kindness to make lives better goes a long way. I personally can't imagine how it feels to sit or lay on a dirt floor to learn in a classroom.
Community carpenters build chairs and tables for students, however, funding is limited. Parents supply or pay the school for the child to attend which means that without the uniforms, chair and table, the child cannot go to school.
My journey to these areas is to bring awareness and personally sponsor kids so they can have their personal uniforms, chair, table, and enroll into school.
Their future education is worth the investment. Join me, together, changing one child at a time with the act of kindness. It's a seed worth planting.
Focussing on bettering children in under privilege areas by donating socks, shoes and other materials and lacking bathrooms for students to better their life.
At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has a reason to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.
A big thank you to

Walking To Success is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting school children with resources to make getting an education attainable. With a focus on Tamale, Ghana and Ethiopia in underprivileged areas, our goal is to provide clothing and educational supplies to help the children with the tools necessary to gain a solid foundation of learning that can lead to the ability to support themselves throughout their lives.
We are here to raise money and other material resources to aid the children of Tamale, Ghana and Ethiopia in underprivileged areas to have a chance to a better quality of life. Resources that we collect will support and bring teachers and students together to a learning environment that will help each child achieve his or her highest potential. Our key strategy is providing access to education through our Walking to Success initiative.
Help us educate children in GHANA and BRAZIL. We accept donations through Gofundme and Paypal.
